Little Rocky Run Stingrays

Membership Requirements:

The Stingrays is a neighborhood team. For your child to be eligible to participate, your family must live in the Little Rocky Run neighborhood. In addition:

• Each swimmer must possess a valid pool pass.
• The eligibility to join is determined by his/her age on June 1 of the current year.
• Swimmers are eligible to join the Stingrays team once they can demonstrate the ability to swim the length of the pool without assistance from a coach, a lane line, or the bottom of the pool.
• The Stingrays team assessments are held at the beginning of each season. Younger swimmers who are not yet able to cross the length of the pool unassisted can join the Little Stingers.
• Swimmers do not typically change or move up from Little Stingers to Stingrays in the middle of a summer season.

Suits, Shirts, Caps:

• Our team selects a new suit design every 2 years. The 2026 season will use the same suits as 2025.
• Suits will be available for purchase from Cassle's.
• Team T-shirts are provided to each swimmer included with registration.
• Optional personalized caps can be ordered through Cassel's.

Volunteer Jobs

• The summer swim program depends on parent volunteers to run meets, pep rallys, and social events.
• Families with Stingrays particpants are required to sign up for a minimum of 7 volunteer jobs.
• Families with only Little Stingers participants are required to sign up for 2 volunteer jobs, and do not need to be associated with Stingrays swim meets. Little Stingers families can sign up for social events to fulfill both volunteer job requirements.
